You may have read or heard us use the phrase “Make a Difference” or “Making a Difference” before at Mount Carmel Urgent Care. That’s because we believe in doing everything we can to help not only our patients, but our communities as well. Working to make a difference isn’t always easy, but that’s what makes it worth doing. That’s why we’re especially excited for Saturday, October 22nd this year, because it’s National Make a Difference Day.
National Make a Difference Day is a great opportunity to give back to the community.
National Make a Difference Day is a great opportunity to give back to the community, and not just for businesses and companies. You can make a difference as an individual and make an impact on someone’s life in ways you wouldn’t expect. This is a great chance to look around and see where you might be able to lend a helping hand. Perhaps at a foodbank, or a soup kitchen, an animal shelter, or cleaning up a park in town.
Of course, you may not have to look further than your own neighborhood to find an opportunity to help someone. Perhaps a neighbor could use someone to talk to. Maybe you could offer to mow someone’s yard, or even make dinner for the family instead of your spouse. You don’t have to rack your brains for big ways to help- sometimes just small acts of kindness and generosity are all that’s needed.
At Mount Carmel Urgent Care, we try to “Make a Difference” by ensuring that every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for. We also do this by making sure that we offer the best care, which is why we’ve worked hard to be accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America, as well as adding the most qualified and skilled team members. So, join us in going out there and helping others this Make A Difference Day. A little goes a long way, and you never know who you might help, or even inspire.
